Video biography is created on the memories and documents of one or more of the members of a family, a nation, an association, an organization, and a business entity.
The goal Pirnia Production Company (PPC), a division of MehrIran Publishing Company, is to turn biographies to video films. During the four years since the foundation of PPC, the company has succeeded in creating six hundred and fifteen minutes DVD and five hundred minutes video films, utilizing the most modern advanced techniques and designs.
The main title of the video biographies is Hezar-Dastan, a Persian simile for nightingale. However hezar dastan literally means a thousand hands in the Persian language, hence the irony of memoirs of thousands of people who have played critical and vital roles in the development and progress of Iran. These figures advanced their roles by educating their children at home, training them to be prepared for social positions, as experienced and ingenious as possible; founding industrial, scientific, and educational centers; collecting the artistic works of various nations and countries; organizing exhibitions, and lectures; and promoting understanding among peoples and nations.

- Light of a Life, a documentary based on the biography and Life Story of Monavar Baygom Navab (Yousefi), duration 60 Mins.
- A Century of Archaelogical Surveys in Iran, the biography of Mahboobian, duration 100 Mins.
